Echinacea
Summary
Also known as Purple cone flower, Kansas snakeroot, Black eyed susan, Sampson root, Comb flower and Hedgehog. Echinacea has been used by the Native Americans for centuries to treat viral and bacterial infections.
Over 100 years ago the US Dispensatory stated that tincture of Echinacea gave resistance to infection. It boosts the immune system by stimulating the production of white blood cells that fight infection.
